Help Cards
Delete cards
Clearing a deck takes one key: select what should go and press Delete. For a single card, there’s also a bin on the card itself and in the right panel.
Delete what’s selected
Select cards or frames, then press Delete or Backspace. See Select several.
- Locked cards stay. They stay selected too, so you can see they weren’t removed. See Lock a card.
- A deleted frame keeps its cards. Only the frame goes. Its cards stay where they are, now loose.
Delete one card
- On the card. Hover it and click the bin (“Remove from deck”).
- In the right panel. Select the card and click the bin at the top of the panel.
Changed your mind?
Undo (⌘Z, or Ctrl+Z on Windows) brings back everything the last delete removed, in one step. See Undo and redo.
Good to know
- Deleting a card removes it for everyone. Decks are shared, so it’s gone for the whole workspace. See Workspaces and teams.
- Comments on a removed card aren’t lost. They still open from the sidebar’s “Comments” tab. See Comments and @mentions.
- Removing a whole deck works differently. Right-click it in the sidebar. See Create, rename, reorder, duplicate and delete decks.
- Delete and Backspace wait while you’re busy elsewhere. They do nothing while you type in a field, or while a window or the drill-down is open, so they never remove cards you can’t see.
Who can do this
Editors and admins. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.
