Connect your store and Stetto imports its sales, orders, visits and stock, using Shopify’s own report numbers.

Connect your store

1. Click “Connect your store” at the foot of the sidebar. Or, in Settings, “Connections”, choose “Add a connection” then “New Shopify store”.
2. Shopify’s install page opens. Pick your store and approve.
3. If your team isn’t on a plan yet, Shopify’s plan page opens next.
4. Back in Stetto, the import starts.

If your team’s plan has no room for another store, Stetto tells you before you go to Shopify and offers “Change plan”. See More than one store or account.

What’s imported

• Sales by product, day, country, sales channel and state or province.
• Orders and new customers. An order with three products counts as one order.
• Order detail for the last 180 days. That’s the order number, products, ship-to country, channel and whether it was a first order, but never names or contact details.
• Store sessions and the checkout funnel.
• A daily stock snapshot, starting the day you connect. Shopify only knows today’s stock, so your stock history starts then.

History

Stetto imports a year and a month of history. It starts with this month, then works back month by month, newest first. Once it’s all in, Stetto checks for new days every hour and re-reads the last 3 days each time, so late refunds and edits get picked up. See How fresh is my data?.

The numbers match Shopify’s reports

Stetto reads your numbers through Shopify’s own reports, so net sales, orders and the rest match what Shopify’s Analytics shows for the same days. See Why doesn't my number match Shopify, Meta or Google?.

Good to know

• Uninstalling keeps your data for about 48 hours. After that, Shopify asks Stetto to remove it. Meanwhile the store says it needs reconnecting, and if you reconnect within that time, everything stays.
• Sales still import when visits don’t. A store whose visits Shopify won’t share still imports its sales. A headless store counts its visits in Google Analytics instead. See Headless store? Count visits with GA4.
