Help Connect your data

Google Ads

Connect a Google Ads login, then choose which of its accounts belong to this workspace. You don’t need to dig for accounts under your manager accounts: Stetto finds those for you.

Connect Google Ads

  1. In Settings, “Connections”, choose “Add a connection”, then “New Google Ads login”.
  2. Sign in with Google and allow Stetto to read your Google Ads data.
  3. Tick the accounts that belong to this workspace’s brand, then import them.

Nothing imports until you choose accounts. That’s on purpose: a login can reach other brands’ accounts too, so tick only this brand’s.

What’s imported

  • Daily campaign numbers for each account. Spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and conversion value, in the account’s own currency and time zone.
  • Ad-level numbers for the last 180 days, with the page each ad links to.

Spend by landing page

Split a Google Ads card by “Landing page” or “Campaign (UTM)” to see spend by the page each ad sends people to. You can put Google Analytics’ visits to the same pages on the same card. See Google Analytics 4.

  • With auto-tagging on, which is Google’s default, the campaign is the Google Ads campaign’s own name, as Google Analytics records it. For this, your Google Ads account needs to be linked to your Google Analytics property. Without the link, Google Analytics shows those visits’ campaign as “(not set)”.
  • With auto-tagging off, it’s the UTM campaign in the ad’s link.
  • Performance Max spend shows as “(not set)” here, since Google doesn’t split it by ad.
  • “Total ad spend” splits the same way, with Meta’s and Google’s together.

Good to know

  • Performance Max still adds up. Spend Google doesn’t split by ad shows as “(not split by ad)”, so ads still add up to their campaigns.
  • Conversions can be fractions, because Google gives partial credit across ads.
  • Google’s conversion value is Google’s claim. Stetto shows it beside Shopify-verified ROAS, which uses Shopify’s own sales. See Platform ROAS against Shopify-verified ROAS.
