Pair ad accounts to stores
Pair each ad account with the store it sells for, and every store gets its own MER, ad spend as % of sales and CAC.
Pair an account
- In Settings, open “Pairing”. It shows once you have both a store and an ad account.
- Ad accounts are on the left and stores on the right. Drag from an account to its store, or click the account and then the store.
Each pairing saves straight away.
Read the lines
- Solid lines are paired. Someone on your team confirmed them.
- Dashed lines are Stetto’s guesses. Hover an account to see why, like “Both CAD” when the account and the store share a currency.
- “Looks right” confirms every guess as it stands.
- “Brand totals only” holds accounts that aren’t tied to a store. Their spend counts in the brand’s totals, and in no store’s.
Once every account is paired and more than one store has ad spend, “Compare stores” adds the “Regions side by side” template to your deck. See The templates.
What it changes
A store’s MER, ad spend as % of sales and CAC count only the accounts paired with it. Split any of them by region to compare stores. See Blended metrics.
There’s one exception: a campaign named for a region, or aimed at a single country, counts in that region instead of its account’s store. See Regions.
Good to know
- New accounts get a guess, so they land with a store instead of in brand totals. When you choose ad accounts in Connections, you’re brought here next.
- Pairing is part of your regions. It edits the same settings as Settings, “Regions”, where the accounts are listed too. See Regions.
Who can do this
Team admins. Everyone else sees the pairing as it is. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.
