Share a connection across workspaces

Your team connects each store or login once, and every workspace that needs it can use it. One import feeds them all, and each workspace keeps its own numbers.

Use a connection in another workspace

In Settings, “Connections”, every workspace on your team is listed with what it uses. There are two ways to add a connection to one:

Under the workspace, click “Add a connection”. “Your team’s connections” lists the ones it doesn’t use yet, with those whose names fit the workspace first. Pick one.
Or at the bottom, under “Not used in any workspace”, click “Use in” beside a connection and choose the workspace.

For an ad or Google Analytics login, each workspace ticks its own accounts or properties, even when another workspace uses the same login.

History comes along

When a workspace starts using a store another workspace already has, its history is copied over, usually within minutes. Otherwise, it’s read from the platform again.

See where each one is used

When more than one workspace uses a connection, its row says “also in” and names the others. One that needs reconnecting says “Needs reconnecting”. Reconnect it before you add it anywhere. See Fix a connection.

One name per workspace

Stetto names each store, Klaviyo account and Amazon seller once for the whole team, and adds the address or region when two share a name. Two with the same name can’t both be used in one workspace, because their numbers couldn’t be told apart. Stetto tells you which one is “already in” that workspace, so remove it there first.

Good to know

Removing one from a workspace leaves it in the others. Disconnecting it from the team removes it everywhere. See Remove or disconnect a source.
People see only the workspaces they can open. So a client viewing their workspace never sees another client’s stores or accounts. See Invite a client as a viewer.

Who can do this

Team admins. Editors and viewers can see the open workspace’s connections and how they’re doing. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.
