Help Connect your data

Set up a new workspace

A new workspace opens on a short setup step. You name it, then choose which of your team’s connections it uses.

Create one

Click the “+” at the end of the workspace tabs and name it under “New workspace”. It opens in a new tab on “Set up your new workspace”. You can also add one in Settings, “Workspaces”, and the step shows the first time you open it.

Choose its connections

  1. Check its name. You can change it here.
  2. Tick what it uses under “Your team’s connections”. Stetto marks the ones whose names fit as “Suggested”, but it only ticks the ones that match the workspace’s name exactly. A workspace called “Fernway Canada” ticks the “Fernway CA” store, while “Peak” only suggests “Peak Performance Outdoors”. Check what’s ticked before you add it.
  3. Click “Use 2 connections”. Their history comes over within a few minutes.

If you add an ad login or Google Analytics, its account picker opens next, so this workspace ticks only its own accounts or properties. See Share a connection across workspaces.

A connection that needs reconnecting can’t be ticked until it’s reconnected in Settings, “Connections”. See Fix a connection.

Something new, or later

  • “Add a new connection” opens Settings, “Connections”, for a store or login your team hasn’t connected yet. See Connections at a glance.
  • “Do this later” closes the step, and so does Escape. The workspace shows sample data until it uses a connection, and you can add them any time in Settings, “Connections”.

Good to know

The step shows only once, in the browser the workspace was made in, and only within two days. It doesn’t show at all if the workspace already uses a connection.

Who can do this
