Help Metrics and definitions
Why doesn't my number match Shopify, Meta or Google?
Stetto’s numbers come from each platform’s own reports. So when one doesn’t match, it’s usually down to the dates, the time zone, or what’s being counted.
Check these first
- Are they the same days? Check the card’s dates against the report you’re comparing it with. Stetto imports through yesterday, so today isn’t in until the day is over. See How fresh is my data?.
- Is it the same time zone? Each store and account counts its days in its own time zone. A Google Ads account on Pacific time and a store on Eastern time split their days differently.
- Is it the same currency? Stetto converts at each day’s exchange rate. A platform’s report in its own currency won’t match a card converted into another one. See Currencies.
- Is a sales channel left out? If your workspace leaves out a sales channel, like Wholesale, its sales are out of every number. The card’s footer says so. See Sales channels.
- Is a frame or the region switch involved? A frame can set a card’s dates and region, and the region switch changes what you see. See Which cards belong to a frame.
Shopify
- Net sales match Shopify’s Analytics for the same days, in the store’s time zone. Refunds count on the day they’re made, just as in Shopify’s own reports.
- Orders count each order once, however many products it has.
Google Ads and Klaviyo
- Attributed revenue and ROAS are the platform’s claim. Each platform credits a sale to its own ads, using its own attribution window, so together their claims add up to more than your real sales. Stetto’s Shopify-verified ROAS uses your store’s sales instead. See Platform ROAS against Shopify-verified ROAS.
- Klaviyo’s numbers keep moving for about two weeks after a send, as opens and orders come in. Stetto re-reads them until they settle.
- Google counts conversions in fractions. It gives partial credit across ads.
Google Analytics
- GA4 often counts fewer sessions than Shopify, because visitors who turn down cookies or block trackers aren’t in it.
- Its latest day or two by channel can still move while Google Analytics sorts visits into channel groups.
