Help Troubleshooting

I can't edit this deck

If you can look at a deck but can’t move, add or change cards, you’re a viewer in this workspace. Ask for edit access, and an admin can approve it.

How to tell

  • “View only” shows where editors have their tools. “Request edit access” sits right beside it.
  • Settings says so. On the workspace’s “General” page, your access reads “Can view”.
  • Stetto answers but doesn’t build. It answers your questions, but it won’t add or change cards for you. See What it can and can't do.

Viewers can still look at every deck in the workspace, ask Stetto questions, comment, follow teammates, export, and switch the region for themselves. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.

Ask for edit access

  1. Click “Request edit access”, either beside “View only” or in the “Share” flyout.
  2. You’ll see “You asked to edit. The team’s admins will see it.” They get an email, and a dot appears on “Share”.
  3. When an admin approves, Stetto offers a reload: “You can edit Fernway now.” Click “Reload” and start building.

If an admin turns it down, you’ll see when, and you can ask again after a day. See Ask for edit access.

Approving gives you a seat. If every seat is taken, the admin needs to free one or give the team more. See Seats.

Only one card won’t change?

It may be locked. Nobody can move or change a locked card, Stetto included, until it’s unlocked. To unlock it, click the lock on the card. See Lock a card.

Still stuck? Email support@getstetto.com and a person will answer.
