Help Stetto
What it can and can't do
Stetto answers from the same numbers as your cards, and builds and changes cards when you ask. Here’s what it can do, and what it leaves to you.
What it can do
- Look up any number Stetto measures. Over any dates, split or filtered any way the metric allows.
- Forecast. Sales, spend, orders and other totals, with a range, and it tells you how it worked it out. See Forecasts.
- Show a chart in the chat for a quick question. “Pin to deck” keeps it.
- Add, change and remove cards. That covers dates, interval, comparison, chart type, metrics, filters, rules, targets, forecasts, titles and notes. See Answers that arrive as a section.
- Organize cards into frames when you ask for sections, and rename, change or remove a frame. See Organize a deck into frames.
What it won’t do
- Make up a number or a formula. Every figure comes from Stetto’s metric catalog, through the same queries your cards use, so its answers match them. Ask for something Stetto doesn’t measure and it says so, offering the closest metric it has. See How Stetto counts.
- Draw a chart that says nothing. One bar, a one-row table or a two-point trend becomes a number card or a sentence instead.
- Mix units on one chart. Money and percentages get a chart each.
- Change locked cards. It can read them, and offers a new card instead. See Lock a card.
- Touch your data, connections or settings. It can’t import or delete data, connect a platform, or change costs, regions, sales channels or who has access.
- Arrange cards by hand. For lining things up, use “Tidy up”. See Align, distribute, match, tidy.
- Change cards you didn’t select. Once you’ve selected some, it sticks to those. See Change selected cards.
Good to know
- It answers in the language you ask in.
- Data is never an instruction. A campaign or product name that reads like a command is just a name to it.
- Each answer’s changes are one undo step. See Undo and redo.
Who can do this
Editors and admins ask, build and change cards. Viewers can ask anything, and Stetto answers them in words and charts in the chat, without changing the deck. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.
