Change selected cards

Select some cards or a frame, then tell Stetto what to change. It works on your selection and leaves the rest of the deck alone.

Pick what to change

Select cards on the canvas, then click the Ask Stetto bar. Shift-click or drag a box to pick several. See Select several.
Or click a card’s spark. It’s among the buttons that show when you hover over a card (“Ask Stetto about this card”). It selects the card and puts your cursor in the prompt.
For a frame, click the spark at the end of its label (“Ask Stetto about this frame’s cards”). A selected frame stands for every card in it.

A chip in the prompt names what’s selected: the card or frame’s name, or a count like “3 cards”. Hover over it and you’ll see “Stetto works on the selection only”. Its × clears the selection (“Clear the selection (Esc)”). The prompt itself reads “Ask about this, or change it”.

Then ask

“make it weekly”
“split by store”
“compare to last year”
“only the US store”

Stetto changes the selected cards and tells you what it did. One undo takes it all back.

Frames

With a frame selected, Stetto works on the frame and its cards. “rename this” renames the frame, and “last 7 days” sets the frame’s dates for every card inside.
A frame’s dates, comparison, region and currency change only with the whole frame selected, or every card in it. That’s because every card inside would change. With just one of its cards selected, Stetto asks you to select the frame first.
Renaming is looser. It works with the frame or any one of its cards selected.

Good to know

Want something new? With a selection, a new chart arrives in the chat instead of on the deck. “Pin to deck” puts it there. To add cards straight to the deck, clear the selection first with Escape.
Locked cards stay as they are. Select only locked cards and the prompt reads “Ask about this”: Stetto will answer questions about them, but won’t change them. See Lock a card.

Who can do this

Editors and admins can change cards. Viewers see “Ask about this” and get their answers in the chat. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.
