Organize a deck into frames

Ask Stetto to sort a deck into named sections. Each section becomes a frame, laid out the way a template would be.

Ask

Try one of these in the Ask Stetto bar:

  • “Organize this deck into sections”
  • “Group the ad cards together”
  • With cards selected, “Put these in a frame” See Change selected cards.

Stetto picks the groups, their order and short names, like “Sales”, “Ads” or “Email”. Then it lays out each frame like a template: numbers in a row first, charts two across.

Where things go

  • One frame goes where its cards were, when it fits.
  • Several frames stack from the top of the cards they move, stepping around whatever stays.
  • Cards Stetto isn’t given stay where they are.
  • Locked cards never move. Stetto tells you which ones it left. See Lock a card.

Your numbers stay the same

Organizing changes where cards sit, not what they show. A card that leaves a frame keeps the dates, comparison, region or currency that frame set for it.

A frame only sets something for its cards when you ask, like “put the ads in a frame for the last 7 days”.

A card whose frame shows it all regions only joins a frame that sets a region too, either all regions or one you ask for. That way it never quietly switches to following the deck’s region.

Change a frame later

Ask Stetto to rename a frame, set its dates, comparison, region or currency, or remove it. Removing a frame keeps its cards, back on their own settings. If any locked cards inside follow the frame’s new settings, Stetto mentions them. See What a frame is.

Undo

The whole change is one step, so ⌘Z puts everything back. See Undo and redo.

Just lining cards up?

Use “Tidy up” in the right panel instead. It arranges what’s selected without making frames. See Align, distribute, match, tidy.

Who can do this

Editors and team admins. Viewers can ask questions, but Stetto doesn’t change their deck. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.
