Prompts that work well

Not sure what to ask? Here are questions to try, grouped by the job you’re doing. Copy one into the Ask Stetto bar and swap in your own dates or names.

Weekly check-in

  • “How did we do last week vs the week before?”
  • “Build me a weekly pulse: net sales, orders, AOV and MER”
  • “What changed most this week, by channel?”

Why a number moved

  • “Why did net sales drop yesterday?”
  • “Which products drove the change in sales this month?”
  • “Is the drop in conversion rate the same in every country?”

Profit

  • “What’s my contribution margin this month?”
  • “Which products make the least profit per order?”
  • “What ROAS do I need to break even?”

Profit answers need your product costs first. See Enter product costs.

Ads

Email

  • “What share of sales came from email last month?”
  • “Top flows by revenue, last 90 days”
  • “How did our last five campaigns do?”

Stock

  • “Which product will stock out first?”
  • “Days of cover for every product, lowest first”

Regions

  • “MER by region, month to date” See Regions.
  • “Show the UK in pounds”
  • “Which country grew fastest this quarter?”

Plans and goals

  • “Forecast net sales to the end of the month” See Forecasts.
  • “Add a net sales number with a goal of $200,000 this month” See Targets and pacing.

Tips

  • Name the dates, like “last 7 days” or “month to date”. Without them, Stetto chooses, and “Show what I looked at” under the answer lists the dates it used.
  • Say how to split it, by channel, product, country, campaign or store.
  • Select cards first to change just those, with “make it weekly” or “compare to last year”. See Change selected cards.
  • Ask for a section, like “build me a paid ads deck”, and several cards arrive together in a frame. See Answers that arrive as a section.
  • One number makes a number card. A chart with a single bar or point says nothing, so Stetto answers in words or adds a number card instead.
