Help Frames

What a frame is

Frames turn a deck into sections. Set a frame’s dates once, and every card inside it follows, so a whole section can switch from the last 7 days to the last 30 in one click.

What frames do

  • They group cards. Give the section a name, then move and arrange it as one piece.
  • They set filters for every card inside. Dates, the comparison and, if your brand sells in several regions, the region and currency. Change them on the frame and every card in it redraws.
  • They’re how bigger answers arrive. Templates land as frames, and so do Stetto’s answers that make several cards. You can also ask Stetto to sort your cards into frames for you. See Organize a deck into frames.

How they behave

  • A card belongs to the frame its centre sits in. Drag it in to join, drag it out to leave. See Which cards belong to a frame.
  • Frames never overlap or sit inside each other, so every card has exactly one set of dates.
  • A frame keeps the size you drew it. It grows when you drop a card over its edge, and it never shrinks on its own.
