Help Decks
Layers
The sidebar’s “Layers” tab lists everything on the deck you’re on: each frame with its cards, then any cards that aren’t in a frame. Use it to find, rename and move things without hunting across the canvas.
Find something
Click a frame or card in the list to select it, and the canvas moves to show it. A frame’s row shows how many cards it holds and, when the frame sets their dates, those dates.
Click the arrow beside a frame to fold its cards away. Selecting one of them on the canvas unfolds it again. Folded frames are remembered in this browser.
Rename
Double-click a frame or card in the list, or press F2. Pressing Enter on the one that’s selected works too. Enter or clicking away keeps the new name, and Escape puts the old one back.
A locked card keeps its name, and shows a lock in the list. See Lock a card.
Move cards
- Drag a card into a frame. Drop it on a frame’s row and it lands in the middle of the frame. See Which cards belong to a frame.
- Drag to reorder the list. Drop a card onto another card to change its place. With auto layout on, the cards on the canvas follow that order. See Auto layout.
Good to know
- The line between the decks and the tabs drags. Use it to give either side more room, and double-click it to fit the decks again.
- The other tabs hold “Templates” and “Comments”. Use a template See Comments and @mentions.
Who can do this
Everyone can use the list to find things. Renaming and moving are for editors and admins. See Roles: admin, editor, viewer.
